CV
Platform Statement
1. I will prioritize supporting CSA's commitment to developing policies and member services geared toward institutional diversity, equity, social justice, and belonging.
2. I will help CSA leadership continue to hone our hybrid conference model to both maximize accessibility and support CSA’s reach for membership growth.
3. Because I view cultural studies as a uniquely and inherently collaborative, transdisciplinary endeavor, I consider it a crucial goal for the Governing Board to create, support, and strengthen relationships between CSA and mission-aligned publishers, cultural workers, media activists, and organizations to enhance the vitality of future conferences and expand the resources and opportunities CSA affords it members year-round.
Additional information:
Feel free to list anything else you'd like to add about your candidacy in a brief sentence or two.
To me, CSA is a unique and irreplaceable scholarly community. Between the welcome I received at my first CSA conference as a graduate student in 2017 and my more recent experience serving on the governing board, executive committee, and as co-chair of the last two conference programming committees, I've come to appreciate the vast amounts of labor and care that go into ensuring CSA can be for many others what it has been for me. As a scholarly organization, there is so much we have the potential to contribute in the service of struggles for social transformation, and I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of our continued growth.

CV
Platform Statement
1. To support more alternative and public facing scholarly projects through Lateral as well as other organizational structures within the CSA
2. To strengthen, support, and sustain ongoing collaborative communities amongst CSA members through Working Groups and/or other ad hoc/tactical interest groups that will encourage members to collectively engage in CSA-related activity (be that academic, activist, or somewhere in between) between conferences and throughout the year.
3. To improve short-term and long-term planning for the CSA annual conference, including multi-year scheduling for conference location, an earlier and more predictable schedule for the release of CFP and submission deadline, and more regular communication amongst the membership on conference-related deadlines and events.
Additional Information:
I have been nominated for both an executive committee and governing board position, and my "platform" is the same for either position. I am happy to serve in whatever capacity I can to help accomplish these goals.
