1. Connection: Establishing mentorship and outreach programs to connect CSA members with K-12 educators and students, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
2. Project: Spearheading interdisciplinary projects tailored for grades 6-12 within CSA to foster holistic cultural understanding and critical thinking skills.
3. Goal: Expanding membership outreach efforts to include students in grades 6-12, fostering a diverse and inclusive community within a newly established secondary section.

Additional Information:
I am passionate about cultural understandings and awareness and I would love to leverage my current position as an English teacher to help promote the CSA into a secondary section to expand perspectives and understandings among not just adults, but teens as well.

Platform:
1. Provide a space through which faculty members and students can network through the c\Cultural Studies Association to foster further development of research interests.
2. Connect the initiatives of the Cultural Studies Association to the classroom and provide faculty members with ways to present these materials to undergraduate and graduate students (i.e. multimodal activities, etc.
3. Collaborate with both students and faculty members on ways to initiate meaningful cultural activities on campus and in the community through the use of on-campus groups, and faculty communal connections.

Additional Information:
A key initiative I would like to bring to CSA is how to create a stronger presence in both higher education and K-12 spaces.
