Several shuttle services are available for transportation from the San Diego Airport to La Jolla, including Cloud 9 Super Shuttle (http://www.cloud9shuttle.com) and San Diego Airport Shuttle (http://sandiegoairportshuttle1.com). A cab ride will cost $40+; a public bus is significantly cheaper but the ride is long. If possible, renting a car would be very helpful. The available rental car agencies are listed on the airport's website:

EC members:
We have booked a number of hotels for the central days of the convention,
and a smaller block on March 28, when the only thing going on is the EC
dinner meeting. If we don't fill up a significant number of rooms the CSA
will have to pay a penalty, so please book early and often!
The convention hotel is the Sheraton La Jolla Hotel, 3299 Holiday Court, La Jolla CA 92037; (854) 453-5500. The Sheraton is a short walk to campus and its rooms are equipped with free wifi, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee makers. The rooms are quite comfortable and the grounds and pool are lovely. It is also next door to the La Jolla Village Square Shopping Center, which includes an art house movie theater, a Whole Foods, Peets Coffee, and various restaurants. Among all the hotels in La Jolla it is the closest to campus and the least expensive. The convention rate is $119.00 a night plus tax.
You can make reservations in one of two ways:
1. Call Toll-Free, 1-888-627-8445, and ask for the Cultural Studies
Association Group rate.
2. Reserve online;
